The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
