Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function on Windows.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief.
